We were delighted to be part of the official launch of Clean Tech for Health, a new initiative by LYVA Labs that offers up to £100K pre-seed investment to startups and SMEs developing innovations that deliver both sustainability and health benefits.
The launch event took place in Liverpool and brought together professionals and innovators from across healthcare, sustainability, and technology. It was a great opportunity to meet new collaborators and reconnect with familiar faces, all united by a shared interest in advancing cleaner, more sustainable healthcare solutions.
As part of the event, Rich Shaw, Sustainability Lead at pd-m, delivered a masterclass on Sustainability in Healthcare Design. His session explored how design can play a central role in driving circularity, reducing waste, and enabling commercial impact in sustainable healthcare innovation. The discussion sparked engaging conversations around how sustainability can become a competitive advantage rather than a constraint, and how early-stage design decisions can make a measurable difference to both carbon footprint and cost.
We were pleased to see such an enthusiastic and thoughtful audience, with many attendees contributing their perspectives on the future of clean technologies in health. The event also featured open discussions on collaboration and investment opportunities within the Clean Tech for Health programme, setting the stage for new partnerships and impactful projects in the months ahead.
Our thanks to LYVA Labs for hosting a well-organised and inspiring launch event. We look forward to supporting the Clean Tech for Health initiative and helping innovators bring their sustainable healthcare ideas to life.
