ABDOMINAL RETRACTOR
Leeds University had been developing a tool to help surgeons reach organs that sit behind other body parts. They had designed a steel prototype but it was far too costly to make, so they asked us to help.
STREETLIGHT ISOLATOR
It’s hot in the Middle East so lamp posts need to be installed quickly. Lucy Zodion came to us with an idea for a more innovative product, to beat the competition and capture this lucrative market.
baby rocker
The Rockit is a portable baby rocker that can be safely attached and used with any pushchair, stroller, buggy or pram. It was the brainchild of three regular dads, who wanted our support to bring it to life.
ACCESS PLATFORM

BUGBRUSH
Rowena Johnson was having problems brushing the teeth of her daughter Saskia. As an occupational therapist she knew tooth decay in toddlers was a problem and wanted to do something about it.
BABY CARRIER/Seat

TOURNIQUET MACHINE
Braun & Co came to us because they wanted to reinvent their 1962 double cuff tourniquet machine - a tried and trusted medical device that is still used throughout the NHS and overseas hospitals today.
CARSEAT ADAPTORs
A name synonymous with high-end automotive safety, Recaro approached us to develop a range of adaptors to allow their baby seats to retro-fit onto different pushchair/stroller chassis.
SUPERBUDS
We helped the University of Leeds develop a prototype device that could withstand a succession of medical trails; so they could assess the validity of using nerve stimulation as a treatment to prevent strokes.
GLOBAL HEALTH
In partnership with Leeds NIHR Global Health Research Group, we are developing a gasless Laparoscopy surgical device. This is a research and design project to improve quality of healthcare in rural North East India.
LIFT/ASSIST CHAIR SCALE
Weighing people who are critically ill, suffered a stroke or are immobile can be difficult. But it’s an essential daily task to monitor a patient’s progress or establish their correct medication levels.
FACE SHIELD
As experienced medical product designers we volunteered our skills to help protect NHS staff and other key workers. Designed in collaboration with an NHS surgeon in response to the Covid-19 PPE crisis.
