We worked with the Design Council on their Design Works programme, providing industry with expertise in research and design for manufacture.

The client, ASM, produces ground lighting and signage for equipment for airport runways and taxiways, supplying products to BAA and the MOD.

We were asked to redevelop ASM?Äôs current airport Stand Number Indicator signs which currently accommodate fluorescent lighting. The solution was to use state of the art LED lighting to increase the longevity and efficiency of the product, which is vitally important on airports. We also redesigned the housing and simplified the amount of parts required in order to reduce the overall manufacturing costs. Our expertise was provided in the following areas:
