E.ON EnergyLab update
E.ON is getting closer to the next big idea that will help save valuable energy. They launched the E.ON EnergyLab in October 2007 inviting entrants from all walks of life to come up with an invention or innovation that will change the way energy is used.
Contestants have now been shortlisted and the regional heats are being held in Cambridge, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh on the following days.

- Manchester, 29th January 2008
- Edinburgh, 5th February 2008
The final will be at the Tate Modern on 13 March 2008.
There is a top panel of energy efficiency experts to scrutinise every aspect of the innovations and between them they know a thing or two about inventing and the world of energy.
The winner will be in line for a cash prize of £10,000 to help get their idea off the ground or even the support from E.ON's partners LIFE - IC www.life-ic.co.uk to get their idea into production.
